A. Asking and Responding to "How Are You?"
1. Aap kaiso ho? (आप कैसो हो?) – How are you? (Polite, formal)
- Reply:
- Hoon thik hoon. (हूं ठीक हूं.) – I am fine.
- Tharo su haal? (थारो सू हाल?) – And how are you?
2. Tu kaisan hai? (तू कैसन है?) – How are you? (Informal)
- Reply:
- Hoon bhalo hoon. (हूं भलो हूं.) – I’m doing well.
- Thari khabar su hai? (थारी खबर सूं है?) – What’s up with you?
B. Everyday Expressions and Questions
1. Su chalyo hai? (सू चल्यो है?) – What’s happening? / What’s going on?
- Reply:
- Kuchh khaas na. (कुछ खास ना.) – Nothing much.
2. Tamme kitho ja ra ho? (तम्मे किथो जा रा हो?) – Where are you going?
- Reply:
- Bajar ja ro hoon. (बाजार जा रो हूं.) – I am going to the market.
3. Bhukh lagi hai? (भूख लगी है?) – Are you hungry?
- Reply:
- Haan, ghani bhukh hai. (हाँ, घणी भूख है.) – Yes, I’m very hungry.
C. Saying Goodbye and Ending Conversations
1. Ram Ram Sa. (राम राम सा.) – Goodbye / Farewell (Commonly used)
2. Pachhe milsu. (पाछे मिलसू.) – See you later.
3. Dhanyavad, pachhe bolsu. (धन्यवाद, पाछे बोलसू.) – Thank you, talk to you later.
