A. Common Food Items in Marwari
1. Roti (रोटी) – Flatbread
2. Baati (बाटी) – Hard wheat rolls
3. Dal (दाल) – Lentils
4. Churma (चूरमा) – Sweet crumbled wheat dessert
5. Paani (पाणी) – Water
6. Chaai (चाय) – Tea
7. Ghee (घी) – Clarified butter
8. Sabji (सबजी) – Vegetables
B. Ordering Food at a Restaurant
1. Mane paani chahiye. (मने पाणी चाहिए.) – I need water.
2. Baati aur dal liyo. (बाटी और दाल लियो.) – Take baati and dal.
3. Kitna paisa lage? (कितना पैसा लगे?) – How much will it cost?
4. Thodu aur roti laavo. (थोड़ु और रोटी लावो.) – Bring some more roti.
